Shokolat
Wren’s favorite hot beverage for breakfast.
- 2 cups cream
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup dark shokolat pieces
- 1 tbs honey
- 1/2 tsp cinnaspice
- 1 egg
Mix cream and water then heat several minutes. Meanwhile, melt shokolat in a saucepan in a pot of boiling water. Combine cream mixture, melted shokolat, honey, and cinnaspice. In a small bowl, whisk egg until smooth then mix into beverage. Heat until foamy without boiling. Whisk until smooth. Garnish with whipped cream and cinnaspice if desired. Serves 3.
Non-Damensea Equivalents
- 1/3 cup dark shokolat pieces = 2 oz dark chocolate chips
- cinnaspice = cinnamon
- saucepan in a pot of boiling water = double boiler
