Unicorn Water

Dear Lady Juliet,
Thank you for explaining about geases in your last letter. Recently, my mentors they sent me to purchase unicorn water from the healer several villages away. Unfortunately, when I reached the healer’s village the following afternoon, I found the healer my mentors formerly dealt with had died several months ago. The new healer sold me what she claimed was unicorn water, but when I returned home my mentors were furious because the charlatan had sold me clover-flower tea instead.
Why is unicorn water so special? And how do I avoid being cheated again? My mentors were too irate to explain, and I fear they shall dismiss me if I ask them again. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Dear Mr. Thyme,
Unicorn water is formerly impure or poisoned water a unicorn made potable using his/her horn. Water with stronger impurities or poisons generates stronger unicorn water. Unicorn water has strong healing and purifying properties, so healers often stock unicorn water since it can be used similarly to ambrosia but is not as rare or costly.
Unicorn water is used in healing spells, rejuvenation spells, scrying spells, and transformation spells. Some people drink a glass of unicorn water every day to preserve their youth; however, this is dangerous because if they stop, their body goes into withdrawal within a week, and they age rapidly and often die.
Unicorn water smells like unicorns themselves—a combination of clover, lilies, and spring dew. And although scented, unicorn water is completely clear yet glimmers in even the weakest light. In addition, unicorn water feels of magic, much like a potion made by a strong healer.
Your mentors should have explained about unicorn water before they sent you to fetch it. You may want to consider new mentors.
Sincerely,
Lady Juliet, Royal Witch of Calatini
